Aurora

The night is so frigid and very dark
It is so clear to see the starry sky
Orion faces his Bull counterpart
With the seven sisters and Gemini

She slowly appears in the Northern sky
Turning the black night to a sea of green
As the crowd let out a collective sigh
She undulates just like a dancing queen

Purples and pinks join the colors above
As she sways and swirls gracefully up high
And forms shapes like a dragon and a dove
Before fading back to a starry sky

She is magical like things in a dream
Never gets old to see over again
