Butterfly

She is a butterfly and floats so free
The loveliest thing I have ever seen 
She flies to the flowers so close to me 
Fluttering her wings like a beauty queen 

She dances in the air with so much grace 
The most beautiful creature of them all
She glides from flower to flower with ease
Hovering in the meadow till nightfall 

She soars to wherever her heart pleases
The prettiest with the colors she wears 
She takes wing to some exotic places 
Freewheeling in the sky with no such fears 

She is a butterfly lovely to see
The most alluring thing she is to me
