Desire

Amidst the darkness of a moonless night
I saw a shooting star up in the sky
Just like your lovely smile that shines so bright
It never fails to lift my spirits high

Amongst the many stars twinkling their might
The shooting star jetted across the way
Just like your dazzling glow, such a delight
It always brings joy and brightens my day

Between Jupiter and the horizon
I saw the shooting star flare its beauty
Just like your angelic face in my mind
It makes me smile all my worries away

I closed my eyes and wished upon the star
For forever with whom my heart desire
