[Just] Be

Always be soft and to yourself be kind 
You have fought many battles and demons 
But do not let the critics steal your shine 
Rest if you must and let time heal the wounds 

Always be forgiving to your own soul 
You have traveled a difficult journey 
But do not drown in the misery pool 
Cry if you must and discard the worry 

Always be authentic inside your heart 
You have loved and have lost so many times 
But do not despair and find a new start 
Stop if you must but proceed with your climbs 

Above all always to yourself be true 
You are who you are, so always be you
