Rhythm [of My Heart]
Nary a sound but my own beating heart
As I caught a glimpse of her sultry gaze
A loud rhythmic pulse like a ticking clock
I was mesmerized and in such a daze
My heart pounded in rhythm with every beat
As I reveled in her alluring smile
A melody sang by a lark so sweet
I floated high above the clouds awhile
The beat only grew louder and louder
As I looked straight into her pretty face
A magical harmony oh so clear
I was in awe and sent my heart ablaze
I could only hear the rhythm of my heart
At that moment, I had her in my sight
